Pupil is a fairly new web browser application for the Mac platform, developed by the creators of Safari for iPhone. It is a heavily modified version of Internet Explorer and is best viewed on Mac OS X. The basic concept behind the Pupil software is to provide support for content-rich web pages that are most popular in search engines, allowing you to provide more relevant links on your websites. Unfortunately, this is not available on all browsers for Mac OS X, but you can still install it using the steps below.
Pupil is available as an application from the Mac App Store. After downloading the application, you will need to open the installed application to use it. To do this, you should drag the Pupil icon to your desktop. You will then find it inside a folder that looks like this:
To install Pupil, first locate the Pupil application in the Applications folder, then double click the application to run it. Once the application starts up, click on the gear icon and then choose "Preferences". At the bottom of the preferences window, select the "Content Tab" option. This option should be available on the Pupil preferences page. From there, select the "General" tab, and then the "Layout" tab. Check the box labeled "Override Styles", click the "Generate" button, and then click "OK". Finally, choose "Close" to save your changes.
